About Us

MokiD

We love to ride.  I married my best friend & I am thankful everyday for the opportunities we have had to experience life & the world together.  Who knew that a trip to Wal-Mart for school supplies in 1990 would lead to a motorcycle trip to the Arctic Circle 24 years later?  Yes, we really did meet at Wal-Mart!

An adventure with your best friend in the whole world requires a lot of planning.  We don’t want to miss a single exciting thing during our rides together.

Besides having a great plan, we have created 2 rules that we always follow to make sure that every trip is extraordinary!

1. Everyone has fun. No matter what the day brings, we embrace the moment & enjoy the experience.
2. No one gets in trouble. If one of us makes a mistake, if the weather is bad, or our plan requires a detour, we must refer back to rule #1. No grumpiness.  No blaming. No complaining.

When we pull out of the driveway on 2 wheels, we set out to enjoy every minute of the time we have together.  We take tons of pictures & we stop when we see an opportunity to experience something new or beautiful.  Explore.  Experience.  Embrace.

I can’t wait for our next adventure together!

If you don’t own a bike, Buell Vicariously with us as we document our journey.

Good luck on your trip from your cousin from San Diego. Just got off phone with our aunt and she told me about this blog. Been a long time since we have seen each other. I have done many road trips, but in a car. Sounds like fun. Can’t wait to see the pictures you post.

Very envious of you both. I rode from Alabama to Artic Ocean 2 yrs ago. Truly a life changing experience! Ya’ll are going to have a blast! When in Fairbanks you might want to consider stay in the dorms at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. It’s frugal but comfortable for a good nights rest before hitting the Dalton. Also, if you need any bike servicing when in Fairbanks look up Dan Armstrong at Adventure Cycles. He’s a great guy. Good luck! I’ll be following y’all!
