After riding 734 miles today, we made it home tonight. We had beautiful weather today! It was sunny and about 70’F all day. I was dreading this last stretch, worried we would ride through 100′ heat in the Midwest.
We had a nice ride through the Badlands this morning. Just a short detour to see another national park on our way home!
I’ll get pictures & more updates posted soon, but tomorrow is a work day so we are off to catch some Zs. Being home in our bed is going to be fabulous!
Our ride total was 9,774 miles in 24 days! Spectacular trip!

It is so wonderful to know that you are home safe. I worried about you guys the whole trip. It is like I have two more kids in my family to worry about. Sleep well as I am sure that those beds looked mighty inviting last night. It is fantastic that you were able to create so many memories, and are taking these trips while you are younger and healthy. You did it. Congratulations.
